The big buzz today is that Google Earth Pro (used to be $399) ... is now FREE!  You still need to register to get the license key for downloading it.  When you download it, it will ask for your username - this is the email that you registered with.

Hidden Walmart Clearance Scotch Expressions tape 25¢-30¢ for Christmas prints! Money-maker with printable coupon!

Most of the items that I found in Walmart that are "Christmas" have been reset to full price.  I found this earlier today and knew that there was a $1 printable.  So, I went home and printed the coupon and got a $1 off of a clearance roll!  

The cashier said that she should have only rang the coupon through as a quarter, but that is not true.  Walmart gives overage on coupons if the coupon is more than the product.  She called a manager over and the manager verified that I should get the whole dollar off!

I saw this sign yesterday in one of the local stores.  50% off "Must Have" shoes for girls and ladies.  And, according to the receipts that have been printing out this week, there will be an EXTRA 50% off clearance and Christmas from 1/30-2/1 - so these should be 75% off starting Friday!

Also, most Christmas was marked down to 10¢ this week, so Friday it should only be 5¢ -- if you can find any!

Check out the clearance in your store (most will have clearance tags on them) and get your coupons ready for this event!

Penny shopping and quarter clearance shopping this past week at Dollar General.

Last Tuesday, Christmas clearance went to a quarter at Dollar General.  Tomorrow, the quarter items (if you can find them) will only be a dime!  When I first went out on Tuesday, there was a lot of stuff in the stores!  Of course the first one there gets the best choice!

I wasn't too interested in Christmas decorations, but I did get a few ribbon/ bow sets.  These will come in handy year round.  Also, there were odd items that you might not think that were also clearanced with Christmas, such as the 2 pack of red or 2 pack of green sharpies!

I'm heading back out tomorrow, as long as the weather permits.  Not that I need anything else, but it's kind of like a treasure hunt!

I also did a little penny shopping - this is part of my haul from this week.  It's mostly food items.
