I realize that you all read this for deals, but I want to take a few minutes to introduce you to an organization that is trying to bring attention to and stop Veteran suicides - Medicinal Missions. I am a veteran, but fortunately I never saw combat in my 10 years in the Air Force. This movie is about real people and their stories. I would suggest that if you can find a screening - go see it. See what veterans are going through ... take a veteran to see it! The suicide rate needs to go down ... this is a start by facing the realities that are out there and trying to find a way to cope.

Double coupons at Kmart this week!

Kmart is having double couponing this week! It gets kind of tricky though. You have to purchase at least $25 worth of merchandise and can only double 5 coupons (up to 4 of the same).  The maximum amount doubled is a $2 coupon. And, being that Kmart is a bit overpriced, it's hard to find a really good deal for the doubling, but this is what I did today.

They have a lot of really good clearance going on, so it was no problem at all finding $25+ to purchase.
The products that I purchased were:

(4) Pantene stylers (hairspray and gel) on sale for $3.99 each
(1) Always Discreet $3.99
These were $19.95 toward the needed $25 purchase, so I really only need a little over $5 more, but I bought a bunch of other stuff anyway.
