My first Amazon "Prime Pantry" order. I'd like to hear what you think of Prime Pantry too!

If you have Amazon Prime, you probably know about Prime Pantry, but is it really worth it?  I never really thought so, because even though you are a Prime member with free 2-day shipping, you have to pay shipping on a Prime Pantry box.

I was looking around on Amazon this morning and found an AWESOME deal on Ziploc containers.  Only 57¢ for a 7 pack!  So, I  put together a box of items, but let me tell you, it did take a while to search for things that I wanted to fill the box.  The nice thing, however, is that if you purchase 5 select products, you get FREE SHIPPING!

So here is what I ordered:

Amazon is cracking down on product reviews on free and discounted items!

Many of you have gone through clubs that offer free and discounted products for your "honest" review on products sold on Amazon.  Unfortunately for you, Amazon is ending this practice.  I think it's a good move on Amazon's part, because I can't imagine these "reviewing" companies wanting to keep using you as a reviewer if you are leaving negative feedback.  So that would suggest that to stay on and get more free stuff, you would need to leave some type of positive review.  In other words, the reviews may not be completely honest.

The exception to this rule is Amazon Vine members - of which the program is ran through Amazon itself.  Amazon Vine members even pay income tax on their free items.  This is the only totally legit way to get free items and review them on Amazon per Amazon rules.  As far as I know, there is no way that I know of to get "picked" for the Vine program - Amazon just sends invitations to people who they feel have helpful reviews.

Save 50% off at Kmart with new Alpo Meal Helpers Dog Food Coupon!

Head on over and print this coupon for $2 off Alpo Meal Helpers 36 oz box.  I just looked at the Kmart website and shows in stock for our local Kmart and priced at $3.99.

This is a manufacturer coupon and can be used most places that accept coupons, I was just pointing out a deal at Kmart.  I couldn't find this product on Walmart's website.

Amazon has some great coupon deals going on right now.  Right now there are coupons on Gillette Venus Razors and Blades.

Check your Kmart in store!  My local Kmart has a pack of 12 Ball regular pint canning jars for $6.24 (They are marked with a blue and white tag and say "price drop")!  There is a new printable coupon for $3 that I  posted the other day, but Kmart's price has gone down since then and I think this is a pretty hot deal!  I got mine today!
