I haven't really been shopping much at Dollar General because we have a lot of shoppers around here and there just isn't much out there I even want for a quarter.  Today though, I decided to check out a newer store that I have never been to.  And, well, it proved to be a good store for finding stuff!

I have been dieting, so I don't really need the candy and cookies, but I will send some to work with my husband.

Walmart competing with Amazon giving FREE 2-day shipping on orders of $35 or more! Some exclusions.

Walmart is now offering FREE 2-DAY SHIPPING on orders over $35!  There are some exclusions, but for those of you who hate paying shipping (me included), this is awesome!

Free Crushtomizer Coffee Stopper

I already got mine from a few days ago, but be patient as the website is slow.  Unfortunately, they sent me the wrong one ... I am not a gym queen.  And, the site must have really glitched, because I  now have EIGHT of these.  They did each come with a 50¢ off Dixie to go Cup coupons.  So, I guess that's the bright side of this.

Dollar General - penny or not tomorrow? UPDATED 1/31

UPDATE:  So far as we are seeing this morning, it does NOT look like we will be having any new pennies today.

Here is the "list" for penny shopping at Dollar General starting tomorrow.  Please read carefully!  Dollar General is changing things up a bit, so we are not sure if they will penny.  

Snip Snap APP - please read this. The app perpetuates coupon fraud.

It seems as though the Snip Snap APP has reared it's ugly head again!  The app "intended for reusable store coupons" is being used to scan in coupons that are intended for one-time use and manufacturer coupons that need to be remitted to a clearing house so that the store actually gets paid!  So, if you didn't figure that out on your own ... stores will NOT get paid for many of the coupons that people are sharing.  This amounts to coupon fraud.  Yes, fraud.  This is the same thing as putting a coupon on a printer and copying it!



I see a lot of people talking about this app today and I really hope that you will refrain from using this app for sharing coupons that are not meant to be shared.
