I don't know about you, but this really irks me! I print coupons that I want. Ink is expensive and unwanted coupons just lead to more garbage ... and waste! I have only noticed this practice on Coupons.com - so the petition is for them to change.
It's bad enough when we select and print coupons that we don't end up using, but having them forced upon us ... well, it just seems wrong. We are trying to SAVE money, not spend more.
PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION!

How to figure out the extra 50% off plus "cheat" charts for Dollar General extra 50% off this weekend!
Some people are getting confused on how to figure out the percentage off. I added this to my last post, but I made a separate post in case anyone is still confused.
Let's take white dot clothes for example. They are (most places) 40% off. Then with the weekend sale, they are an extra 50% off. You do NOT add the 40% and 50% to get 90%. It does not work that way.
Most phones have a calculator. So, get your phone out if you cannot do this in your head. Some prices, like a $10 item will be easy to figure the price in your head. So, here is a breakdown.
A $10 item at 40% off would be $6. (10 x 0.4 = $4, so your discount is $4 off of the $10 leaving you with $6). Your extra 50% off makes the $6 price half - so $3 is your final price.
I have made "cheat sheets" for you all, screen shot them to use in store! These charts are for items that are already marked down plus the extra clearance this weekend.
10%, 25%, 40%, and 50% plus the extra 50%.
Items that are marked with an ORANGE clearance sticker should ring just 50% off the marked price. The charts are for items that are clearance of a percentage and then the extra 50% off.

My extra 50% off Clearance Haul from Dollar General yesterday!
Yesterday was the first day of the 3-day EXTRA 50% off clearance at Dollar General. The picture of my haul from yesterday is missing 6 boxes of diapers and 2 family size boxes of Nabisco Premium Saltines.
ADDED: Please note that you do NOT add the two percentages together. The extra 50% off is off of the price AFTER the percentage marked.
For instance. If an item is 40% off and then you get the extra 50% off this weekend, you DO NOT add 40 and 50 to get 90%.
An item that is $10 at 40% off would be $6 - then you take 50% or half off of that - making the item $3. (Final price is 70% off.)
If an item is 50% off and then you get an extra 50% off - you don't add then together to make it 100% off. It's 50% off original price - so $10 item will be $5 - then the extra 50% will make it half off the $5. Ending price will be $2.50 (Final price is 75% off.)
And, so forth.
If you purchase $15 or more of Huggies diapers, you get a $4 off coupon on your receipt toward your next purchase of Huggies of $4 or more! You CANNOT stack this with a manufacturer coupon, it doesn't work.
Some people were getting confused about this. The advertisement for this coupon prints sometimes on the receipt, it is NOT the coupon. If you get the coupon, there will be a bar code on the receipt.

Summer BBQ foods are marked down anywhere between 25%-70% at Dollar General.
There is a list of summer BBQ items that is being marked down recently. Some stores are only 25% while I have found a few as low as 70% off. The extra clearance sale that goes through this Sunday make make them even cheaper.
Some stores have a lot left and others, not so much. I have found some of these items right in besides the regular priced items, so look around.
