50% off coupon for Dollar General home and essentials!

UPDATE: Due to abuse and a glitch in the computer system, the digital coupon is no longer available.  You can still get a code by texting HALFHOME to 34898 though.  The 50% off is good on home goods such as rugs, pillows, sheets, and appliances.  See the exclusion list below.

Dollar General put out a coupon that started today (2/8).  It is 50% off of home essentials.  I got some storage totes today that are normally $6 each for only $3!  I can usually get them on sale at Kmart for about $5 ... so I was pretty happy to get them for $3.

You can get this coupon for in-store use one of four ways.  

• Add it to your digital account and put your phone number in the pin pad when you checkout.
• Print a copy and give it to the cashier.
• Select it as a mobile coupon and give the cashier the coupon code.
• Text HALFHOME to 34898 for a mobile coupon. 

• You can also use the coupon code HALFHOME online.
