September 19th is "Talk Like a Pirate Day" and Long John Silvers is giving away free food!

If you dress like a pirate, you can get a free 2 piece fish or chicken basket.
If you just talk like a pirate, you can get a free piece of fish or chicken.

The requirements for dressing like a pirate are on the Long John Silver website.  The site also suggests that you call your local Long John Silver to see if they are participating.  That would be a bit embarrassing to walk in dressed like a pirate for no reason.
