Pennies at Dollar General Tomorrow??? UPDATE
What? Tomorrow is Friday, and we are talking about pennies?
Thursday is the LAST day for the extra 90% off the already low clearance prices of ...
Well, they did NOT penny. Dollar General sometimes mixes it up for us shoppers /wink/. They are supposed to pull the items starting today and through the 20th. Then it says that they will go back to full price starting 11/21. So, we just interpret as well as we can. The stores themselves don't even know sometimes until they scan an item. So, there are no new pennies that we know of today.
Still 90% ...
NOTE: I do NOT think that the Star Wars, Elana, Dory, and Shimmer and Shine party supplies will penny when these items penny. I believe these will go back to being 50% off. I could be wrong, but that is my best guess.
The 90% (and the $2 and under white and yellow dots) will be changed to a penny in the Penny Puss APP - IF and WHEN it is verified sometime between now and 11/21. That's the best we have right now!

- White and Yellow dot clothing, shoes, and accessories (most flip flops are excluded.) NEW items are being put out - codes must be ss17 or BEFORE! There are a few unmarked items following white dot that I will put in the Penny Puss APP first too so that you don't miss anything!
- Green dot home - there are a few exclusions (if they have a code of another year, they are not included.) There are some unmarked green dot items. I am working on getting those items in the Penny Puss APP first too.
- Gray star bras and underpants
- Patriotic party supplies (if they have a code of another year, they are not included.)
- Swim and summer - I'm trying to add the items that are most likely passed over to the Penny Puss APP first. I am also adding items that are excluded. There is no possible way that I can add all the clothing and shoes.
- Lawn and garden (Hoses, grills, coolers ... all excluded. Also some of the really big pots are excluded.)

Update on how to use the Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder.

The Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder is the best app available for penny shopping at Dollar General, although it is not perfect. We update it frequently and try to get the penny items in the app BEFORE they penny so that first thing on a Tuesday when there are pennies, it's ready to use.

Purple Dot has been verified to have pennied at Dollar General today.
Purple dot has pennied at Dollar General today. If you are new to penny shopping, please see the links at the bottom to better understand the process.
As predicted, purple dot home has pennied at Dollar General today. There is only one exclusion that I know of so far, and that is an etched bud vase. This item has a purple dot, but when I purchased it, it was not marked down with the other purple dots. It is excluded. When you search for it in the Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder, it will come up with a red screen that says "not a penny". We do this occasionally for items that have been excluded to ease the process for both the shopper and the employees. We try to keep the most up-to-date information so that your checkout process is smooth and simple!

Penny List for Dollar General today, July 25th.
I posted the new list on Friday, but I guess a lot of people missed it, because I have received numerous emails and messages asking what pennies this week. So here it goes again.
Today, we should see the gray star socks and tights as well as the pink dot accessories penny. This does not inlude pink dot socks - it does include pink dot accessories such as bracelets, phone covers, and purses. The pink dot "must haves" are EXCLUDED.
The ASOTV items and many of the socks are searchable in the Penny Puss APP under the DG Penny Finder. Remember, it's ONLY the ASOTV items in the list below - not ALL ASOTV items. We do not have many of the pink dot accessories in the Penny Puss APP. If you want to share your finds, please see the "share" button on the Penny Puss APP. The Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder has way over 7000 items in it now. Many items in the Penny Puss APP have multiple UPC's in an entry, so I would estimate that we probably have over 10,000 items in the Penny Puss APP at this point. Our App is manually uploaded and not input by shoppers ... we have seen way too many people try to mess up penny shopping that we do not trust that type of input.
