Walmart Christmas Clearance is at 90% now!

It looks like Walmart Christmas clearance hit 90% yesterday morning!  I was really busy yesterday, so I didn't get it posted.

This is my small haul from Walmart, plus I purchased a Holiday Winter Princess "My Life As" doll for only $13!

My local store had a LOT of the holiday projectors left.  I also saw a couple Mickey Mouse scrub tops for $1.50, and other odds and ends.  This is all I ended up with though.  I might go back today and see if I can find any "hidden" deals such as things that are misplaced or just no one knows they are marked down.

The item in the back on the left is a Gurunanda personal diffuser, it was $1.98.  The hat was 69¢, the spatula 29¢, Tic Tac Toe was 49¢, Wax Warmer was $1.50, and the stickers are not Christmas or holiday, but many of the designs were scanning at only 10¢.  If you have children or grandchildren, you know how fast stickers can be used up!  Also, some of these would be great for projects such as scrapbooking or cardmaking.  They are really nice designs.

Merry Christmas ... and a few last minute gift ideas!

There are lot of things that you can do last minute ... in case you forgot someone on your list or if you were just too busy to get your shopping done.

Merry Christmas from my family to yours!
(My granddaughter last Christmas.)

Gift cards are always great!  If you don't know where someone shops though, that can be a little tougher.  Think where they might get gasoline or coffee on their way to work.  Maybe a nice restaurant for a couple or for a family.

Roarin FurReal Tyler the Tiger only $93.99.

The reason I am posting this is because I just saw this on Groupon for over $130!  Don't fall for that price!
We use affiliate links and ads to help fund our site ... and we always try to post the best price available!

Roarin FurReal Tyler the Tiger is available on Amazon, Walmart, and even Target for only $93.99!
This seems to be the best price as Kohl's is priced at $129, ToysRUs has it for $110.49, and as I said, Groupon is over $130!

It's up to you as to which one you want to purchase it from.  Prices could change at any time.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I hope everyone is enjoying this time of year.  Unfortunately some people are dealing with loss, pain, or other issues.  Remember to be kind to all.  I need this reminder sometimes.

This should really be for all times though - not just the holidays.  I was in Aldi the other day and this grumpy man was in front of me.  His items were on the checkout belt and he kept pushing them back, which made my items keep getting closer to his.  All the sudden he took his arm and shoved my items back further.  I really wanted to say something, but I let it go.  I don't know what this man is going through.  I don't know his life.

My aunt Beth has this attitude of being nice ... and I try to remember it.  You just never know what is going on in that other person's life.

So, again, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!  I hope everyone stays safe and warm!

Last minute gift ideas.

Are you a procrastinator?  Or maybe you just forgot a certain person on your holiday list?  Well, don't despair - you still have time!

A gift card to a person's favorite restaurant or favorite store is always a nice gift.  But to me, it's so impersonal!  If you are going this route, why not make it a little more personal by maybe purchasing a wallet or cute little coin purse to put the card in.  This way, it personalizes the gift just a bit!  Another would be a coffee mug and put the gift card inside.  There are all kinds of little ways to personalize a gift.

My husband likes coffee mugs and he also likes Denny's - so last year one of his presents was a Denny's coffee mug with a gift card.  You can do this for Starbucks or any other coffee place.

What if you don't want to go the gift card route at all?  Cash is always an option, but again, impersonal.  If I am giving cash, I like to at least have some small gift for the person to open.

A gift of food or wine is also a good option.  Most grocery stores sell fruit baskets or you can make your own!  It's actually cheaper to make your own, especially if your Walmart price-matches and you can find good deals at other stores to match.  I usually make my own.  I try to find clearance baskets through the year and then just run to the dollar store for a cellophane basket bag ... and if you don't have a basket, the dollar store usually has them too!

Walmart Christmas is now at 75% off!

I heard that Walmart Christmas went to 75% off at midnight.  So I got ready and headed over there after feeding the cats and getting my husband off to work.

So, I'm so excited, but 'darn it' ... they were waxing the floors and I couldn't get to the Christmas stuff.  I wandered around Walmart for about an hour before the floor dried and I could go back to the Christmas stuff.

They had a LOT of stuff, but not really a lot that I wanted.  I got a bunch of throw blankets (yes, I left some).  Also, there were some candles ringing up 74¢ for the 15 oz and 23¢ for the glass votive size.  I only bought one candle though - just one for my Grandma.  Some of the blankets weren't ringing up on clearance, but the cashier had no problem overriding because they were the ones that had Christmas patterns.
