UPDATE: The books on the DG list are ringing FULL PRICE!
As of today, 3/13, the books on the penny list are ringing full price.
We do not have any control over what Dollar General does ... we put out the best information that we have at the time and they WERE on the list with the calendars. The calendars have been confirmed as a penny. Please share and spread the word so that people do not take carts full to the register of the books just to find out they are full price.

We are starting a reward program for those of you who help keep our Penny Puss APP up to date!
Here is how it works:
1. You must have the Penny Puss APP (with DG Penny Finder). There is no way to do this without it.
2. Submit pictures of items, upc's, and receipts to earn points through the Penny Puss APP.
3. Keep track of your points and when you get to the desired level, contact us through the app to claim your reward. We will verify at that time, but you will need to keep track of the emails that are sent back to you.

Clearing up some confusion between red diamond and red triangle at Dollar General.
On March 6, red diamond home and back to school pennied at Dollar General. There seems to be a lot of confusion out there.
We use affiliate links and ads to help fund our site, but in no way are we affiliated with Dollar General.
I really think it's best to put the most current and helpful information out there, not just put "hype" to get people excited. So, I made a graph for those of you who are confused. It's an easy mistake to make, so don't feel bad.

UPDATE on new "surprise" pennies and older pennies at Dollar General.
We have seen a FLOOD of surprise pennies since January 30th. This is in addition to the regular seasonal markdowns that have pennied.
We use affiliate links and ads to help fund our site, but have no affiliation with Dollar General.
Recent lists have showed maybe 12 items a couple different weeks since the the end of January, but so may "surprise" pennies are being found! The stores don't even know about most of these items and that is why they are a little easier to find than "scheduled" pennies.
