Summer BBQ Food and Drinks 70% at Dollar General!
So, there have been lots of people asking for a list of the "summer bbq" markdowns at Dollar General. I have seen a lot of confusion about this too.
Dollar General does this every year and it's a list of mostly drinks and different freezer pops. I was hoping to finish verifying all UPC's but time is ticking away ... so I will post the almost-finished list below.

First off, all verified items are already in the Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder. They are marked as 70% so you do not confuse them with the penny items in the app. I will update the last few as they are verified.

No new pennies, but more 90% art pictures tommorow?
So, there are no new pennies as far as we know scheduled this week, but there are some changes for tomorrow in clearance percentages.

Dollar General Clearance Event this Friday and Saturday!
Dollar General is having a Clearance Event this Friday and Saturday! According to the receipt, the "select" items will be an extra 50% off!

The receipt (as shown) states that the clearance will be and EXTRA 50% off of "Seasonal Clearance and more" ... and goes on to specify "select" of different categories such as:

- Blue and /or gray dot apparel
- Pink dot accessories
- Easter
- Yellow star toys
- Disney Infinity
- Select ASOTV (I'm thinking these are the ones already marked down or in the clearance area.)
The receipt says nothing about core clearance ALTHOUGH the stores that I have talked to as well as signs that are being posting in the stores say that core clearance WILL be included. This may or may NOT be everywhere! Dollar General keeps their customers confused on sales and clearance ... I'm not sure if they do this on purpose ... but it sure seems like it sometimes.
So, anyway, I took some pictures in the store of what is considered "core" clearance and have matched them with coupons. See below.
