Penny List for Tuesday, June 5th at Dollar General!
Tomorrow is another penny Tuesday!
We have a short list, but are hoping there may be some "surprise" pennies too!

Dollar General clearance markdowns for Tuesday!
There are no new pennies that we are aware of tomorrow at Dollar General. But hopefully the 90% off clearance (YMMV) will entice you to shop!
Even though there are no new pennies, you can still look for older pennies. Be aware, however, that new items are being put out for the upcoming holidays that may have reset back to full price. Some of these items include foods and bakeware. Please let us know if an item is in the Penny Puss App and it has reset.
That also brings to mind that we are having a new contest this quarter! There will be various prizes and you will need to enter either through emailing us pictures of seasonal clearance including UPC and picture of receipt or through the "share" tab on the bottom of the Penny Puss APP. Keep an eye on our blog and Facebook page in the next couple days for additional details.
UPDATE: Heather S. M. was the $50 gift card winner from yesterday's drawing.

There no new pennies for tomorrow at Dollar General.
There are no new scheduled pennies for tomorrow at Dollar General. The gray star socks and tights and the pink dot accessories should be going on a tiered-schedule with all being $2 and under. Remember though, there are always exclusion.

Update on yesterday's new pennies at Dollar General.
Tuesday, May 9th, we first reported that gray dot and blue dot apparel, shoes, and accessories would penny along with yellow star toys, and Disney Infinity characters ($10-$14 only). It seems that yellow star toys DID penny, Easter DID penny, but gray and blue dot are not all ringing at a penny ... some are still ringing 25¢.
Hanes fleece has pennied. Some are reporting that more items have pennied from the gray dot today, but still not all.
About the APP: This has placed the Penny Puss APP into a predicament. I don't know which gray and blue dot items pennied and which stayed a quarter, so I have hidden those categories in the app for now. I am going to have to start fresh with these items as I find which items are and are not pennied. I am sorry for this inconvenience.

Lots of new pennies tomorrow at Dollar General ... IF you can find them!
The penny list is big this Tuesday! Pretty much everything that has been 25¢ and 90% off last week will penny on Tuesday, May 9th.
Well, I guess that I was bound to get it wrong sooner or later. Please share this with everyone so that they know about the update!
UPDATE: ONLY Easter and some Blue Dot are coming up pennies today!
NOT gray dot and NOT yellow star toys!
These were all on the list for this week, but for some reason only part of the list pennied. I am so sorry. Please be sure to share this with your friends to keep the errors down to a minimum.

New Penny List and Markdowns for Dollar General, April 11.
We have new pennies starting this Tuesday.
The winter hardware that was 90% off last week should penny. Also, St Patrick's Day should penny. I will try to get the Penny Puss App updated with the 90% off "hidden" brown dot as much as I can for tomorrow morning.
The fall and winter lists are here from last week. Just screenshot them if you don't have the app. If you have the Penny Puss APP, the lists are in last week's heading, but will most likely be updated in this weeks by morning.
Brown dot currently 70%, should be 90% tomorrow - you can see many of the "hidden" brown dots on my earlier post here: Hidden brown dot. That link should help with many questions.

Dollar General penny list for today, March 14.
I know that I said that I would get this posted yesterday, but sometimes real life takes precedence. There is a lot going on right now, and I just don't seem to have enough time in the day to get everything done. Anyway, I'm sorry for the wait.
The list for today is mostly cell cases with a few electronics thrown in. And, remember, that we are never CERTAIN that items will penny. Dollar General keeps telling their employees there won't be anymore pennies ... yet, we have seen probably close to a thousand new pennies in the past 2 months.

The Penny Puss Penny Finder APP is now available for iPhone too!
If you are a penny shopper at Dollar General, you know as well as I do that it's hard to keep all hte information in your head ... and even with screenshots and notes, sometimes it's nice to have a quick reference.
Our APP has been available for about a year now on Amazon exclusively. The app started out with about 2500 items and has grown to include over 5000 items.
Lately, we have had a lot of requests to make the Penny Puss Penny Finder App available for iPhone users too. Well, it was just approved last night and is now available for iPhones! There is a one-time fee for the APP but no annoying advertisements!
It does NOT have a scanner.
