I did get a lot of 25¢ items! None of the really big stuff, but nice deals all the way around. Sorry again for the lighting in my video. I am hoping that I can get my husband to set up his photography lighting soon!

Dollar General Penny List for Oct 24.
There is a new list out for tomorrow for those of you who enjoy penny shopping at Dollar General!

The DG brand swim pants in size small, medium, and large should penny tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct 24). Also, there is a short list of snacks that should also penny.

Purple Dot has been verified to have pennied at Dollar General today.
Purple dot has pennied at Dollar General today. If you are new to penny shopping, please see the links at the bottom to better understand the process.
As predicted, purple dot home has pennied at Dollar General today. There is only one exclusion that I know of so far, and that is an etched bud vase. This item has a purple dot, but when I purchased it, it was not marked down with the other purple dots. It is excluded. When you search for it in the Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder, it will come up with a red screen that says "not a penny". We do this occasionally for items that have been excluded to ease the process for both the shopper and the employees. We try to keep the most up-to-date information so that your checkout process is smooth and simple!
Okay, back to purple dot. There are some things that were marking down with purple dot, but do not have the dot. We call these "hidden" purple dots ... as they are easily hidden in plain site!
We have over 70 purple dot items already searchable in the Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder!

The 14 pack of DG Home sponges. These should be a penny today - if you can find them!

Penny List for Dollar General today, July 25th.
I posted the new list on Friday, but I guess a lot of people missed it, because I have received numerous emails and messages asking what pennies this week. So here it goes again.
Today, we should see the gray star socks and tights as well as the pink dot accessories penny. This does not inlude pink dot socks - it does include pink dot accessories such as bracelets, phone covers, and purses. The pink dot "must haves" are EXCLUDED.
The ASOTV items and many of the socks are searchable in the Penny Puss APP under the DG Penny Finder. Remember, it's ONLY the ASOTV items in the list below - not ALL ASOTV items. We do not have many of the pink dot accessories in the Penny Puss APP. If you want to share your finds, please see the "share" button on the Penny Puss APP. The Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder has way over 7000 items in it now. Many items in the Penny Puss APP have multiple UPC's in an entry, so I would estimate that we probably have over 10,000 items in the Penny Puss APP at this point. Our App is manually uploaded and not input by shoppers ... we have seen way too many people try to mess up penny shopping that we do not trust that type of input.

No new pennies tomorrow at Dollar General.
Unfortunately, there are no new pennies tomorrow at Dollar General.

Though there are not new pennies at Dollar General this week, we do have a couple new markdowns. Before we get to them, I just want to remind you that our Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder hit the one-year anniversary of being available for Apple products. With that in mind, we have put the app on sale for only $2.99 through the 15th of July. While our app does not have a scanner, it does have over 7000 items in it. It is in no way perfect, but I strive to update it as well as I can with the information that I get. The best way to use it, is to type the last 4 or 5 digits of the UPC and see if it comes back as a hit.

There no new pennies for tomorrow at Dollar General.
There are no new scheduled pennies for tomorrow at Dollar General. The gray star socks and tights and the pink dot accessories should be going on a tiered-schedule with all being $2 and under. Remember though, there are always exclusion.

Today's Dollar General Penny List
We have a small list of items that should penny today. They are in the app as a list also, and will not be searchable by bar code until they are verified.
Purple dot will still be 25%-40% most likely and not sure about Mother's Day. If you are interested in any of these clearance, you could always do a price check to see where your store is on the clearance markdowns. We do not suggest that you price check penny items though, as they may tell you that they are no longer in the system and cannot sell to you.

May 16 update on Dollar General clearance.
There are no new pennies that we are aware of tomorrow at Dollar General. Someone has said that the Mother's Day balloons pennied today. I am not really interested and sorry, didn't check it out.

Update on yesterday's new pennies at Dollar General.
Tuesday, May 9th, we first reported that gray dot and blue dot apparel, shoes, and accessories would penny along with yellow star toys, and Disney Infinity characters ($10-$14 only). It seems that yellow star toys DID penny, Easter DID penny, but gray and blue dot are not all ringing at a penny ... some are still ringing 25¢.
Hanes fleece has pennied. Some are reporting that more items have pennied from the gray dot today, but still not all.
About the APP: This has placed the Penny Puss APP into a predicament. I don't know which gray and blue dot items pennied and which stayed a quarter, so I have hidden those categories in the app for now. I am going to have to start fresh with these items as I find which items are and are not pennied. I am sorry for this inconvenience.

The penny list is big this Tuesday! Pretty much everything that has been 25¢ and 90% off last week will penny on Tuesday, May 9th.

Last day for extra 50% off on select merchandise and clearance at Dollar General!
Today is the LAST day of the EXTRA 50% off 2-day Clearance Event at Dollar General!
I went to a handful of stores yesterday and spent no more than $3 at any of the stores. There really wasn't a lot of stuff left here, but I did get a few items! Considering that Purple "Must Haves" are a penny and gray dot are ringing 12¢, I guess I did okay!
Here are a few of my finds yesterday. I am still going through bags, organizing, and adding items to the Penny Puss APP, so I don't have it all in one place.

New Penny List and Markdowns for Dollar General, April 11.
We have new pennies starting this Tuesday.
The winter hardware that was 90% off last week should penny. Also, St Patrick's Day should penny. I will try to get the Penny Puss App updated with the 90% off "hidden" brown dot as much as I can for tomorrow morning.
The fall and winter lists are here from last week. Just screenshot them if you don't have the app. If you have the Penny Puss APP, the lists are in last week's heading, but will most likely be updated in this weeks by morning.
Brown dot currently 70%, should be 90% tomorrow - you can see many of the "hidden" brown dots on my earlier post here: Hidden brown dot. That link should help with many questions.

Hidden Brown Dot items at Dollar General
This post is dedicated to "hidden" brown dot. Brown dot is marking down at Dollar General, and we have been finding many items that do not actually have the dot, but are following the markdown process. Remember, it is NOW that you should be figuring out what is marked down. You can always ask for a price check on items that you are unsure of, but don't pile up a whole buggy and ask for prices on everything! Be respectful AND know what you are doing.
Our main goal is to teach you so that you can go in the store and go about your business without disrupting everyone.

No new pennies, but new markdowns at Dollar General.
There should be no new pennies tomorrow at Dollar General, but there are some different markdowns. I will be up around 4:45 am to type of the lists of the fall and winter hardware. I was really hoping that brown dot would go down a bit more ... oh well.

Dollar General penny list for today, March 14.
I know that I said that I would get this posted yesterday, but sometimes real life takes precedence. There is a lot going on right now, and I just don't seem to have enough time in the day to get everything done. Anyway, I'm sorry for the wait.
The list for today is mostly cell cases with a few electronics thrown in. And, remember, that we are never CERTAIN that items will penny. Dollar General keeps telling their employees there won't be anymore pennies ... yet, we have seen probably close to a thousand new pennies in the past 2 months.

Heads up on tomorrow's Dollar General penny list.
Just a heads up for now:
Tomorrow's preliminary penny list has about 90 items on it. Most of the Q4 electronics are on it, but a couple are not. The rest are phone chargers and covers and other similar accessories. If you have the Penny Puss app, I just finished updating it. I will finish the graphic list a little later today. I need some coffee and maybe a nap!
Our "best guess" is that these items will penny.
This is just a heads up, so you know to be ready for new pennies. The full list will be posted in a bit.
